Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 3.31% or 4.8 points to trade at 148.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) added 3.24% or 7.00 points to end at 223.00 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 2.28% or 4.1 points to 181.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 11.20% or 29.5 points to trade at 233.8 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 6.47% or 5.8 points to end at 84.2 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was down 4.60% or 58.0 points to 1202.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 332 to 277 and 62 ended unchanged.
Shares in Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 11.20% or 29.5 to 233.8. Shares in Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) fell to 5-year lows; down 6.47% or 5.8 to 84.2.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.31% or 0.21 to $67.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.20% or 0.15 to hit $74.59 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 4.80 to trade at $1322.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.25% to 10.5124, while USD/SEK rose 0.22% to 8.6822.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 91.44.
