Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 1.66% or 2.4 points to trade at 147.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 1.40% or 2.40 points to end at 174.10 and Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb) was up 1.16% or 5.3 points to 461.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 1.54% or 2.10 points to trade at 134.50 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 0.96% or 7.5 points to end at 773.7 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) was down 0.67% or 0.48 points to 71.55.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 328 to 301 and 68 ended unchanged.
Shares in Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb) rose to all time highs; rising 1.16% or 5.3 to 461.5.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.75% or 0.43 to $57.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.23% or 0.15 to hit $64.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.85 to trade at $1398.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.14% to 10.6099, while USD/SEK rose 0.20% to 9.4601.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 96.947.
