Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Technology, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 4.88% or 1.17 points to trade at 25.17 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) added 3.48% or 3.00 points to end at 90.50 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 2.10% or 4.00 points to 194.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which fell 15.46% or 0.87 points to trade at 4.75 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.07% or 3.70 points to end at 341.80 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) was down 0.95% or 1.20 points to 125.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 416 to 349 and 86 ended unchanged.
Shares in H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.10% or 4.00 to 194.70.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.17% or 0.14 to $80.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $84.21 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.76% or 17.65 to trade at $2,313.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.36% to 11.30, while USD/SEK rose 0.62% to 10.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 105.67.
