Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 2.91% or 1.45 points to trade at 51.27 at the close. Meanwhile, ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) added 2.44% or 4.1 points to end at 172.2 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 1.68% or 4.5 points to 272.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 2.53% or 7.3 points to trade at 281.7 at the close. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) declined 0.94% or 1.1 points to end at 116.4 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was down 0.88% or 9.0 points to 1010.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 510 to 236 and 76 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.56% or 0.31 to $55.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.94% or 0.58 to hit $61.29 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 2.55 to trade at $1280.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.44% to 9.8948, while USD/SEK fell 0.29% to 8.4052.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 93.78.
