Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which rose 1.70% or 7.9 points to trade at 471.6 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 1.64% or 11.8 points to end at 731.7 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) was up 1.43% or 3.8 points to 268.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which fell 0.94% or 1.55 points to trade at 164.15 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 0.90% or 1.55 points to end at 170.30 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was down 0.66% or 1.80 points to 270.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 335 to 282 and 80 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.39% or 0.24 to $62.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.44% or 0.31 to hit $71.06 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 8.85 to trade at $1280.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.13% to 10.6893, while USD/SEK fell 0.27% to 9.5513.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 97.295.
