Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE), which rose 3.30% or 2.67 points to trade at 83.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 2.77% or 20.6 points to end at 764.2 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 1.69% or 3.0 points to 180.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which fell 7.38% or 34.5 points to trade at 433.0 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) declined 2.81% or 6.1 points to end at 211.3 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was down 1.99% or 2.67 points to 131.53.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 411 to 215 and 51 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.90% or 2.34 to $57.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 3.75% or 2.63 to hit $67.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1203.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.41% to 10.2204, while USD/SEK fell 1.01% to 9.0556.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 96.97.
