Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa), which rose 1.36% or 1.32 points to trade at 98.62 at the close. Meanwhile, H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 1.27% or 1.5 points to end at 122.8 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was up 1.26% or 1.90 points to 153.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which fell 1.26% or 9.8 points to trade at 768.2 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) declined 1.06% or 0.83 points to end at 77.69 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was down 0.95% or 5.0 points to 522.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 328 to 296 and 61 ended unchanged.
Shares in Autoliv Inc. SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) fell to 3-years lows; losing 1.26% or 9.8 to 768.2.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.32% or 0.22 to $67.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.30% or 0.23 to hit $77.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1201.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.26% to 10.4910, while USD/SEK fell 0.16% to 9.0432.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 95.08.
