Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.36% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ABB Ltd (ST:ABB), which rose 3.87% or 24.20 points to trade at 650.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) added 1.42% or 2.70 points to end at 188.80 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was up 1.24% or 1.50 points to 118.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which fell 3.54% or 0.18 points to trade at 4.96 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.78% or 6.20 points to end at 342.40 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was down 1.30% or 2.90 points to 219.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 421 to 352 and 65 ended unchanged.
Shares in ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) rose to all time highs; rising 3.87% or 24.20 to 650.20.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.08% or 0.06 to $75.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $79.25 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 10.41 to trade at $2,769.61 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.16% to 11.46, while USD/SEK rose 0.25% to 11.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 108.02.
