Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 2.62% or 2.60 points to trade at 100.90 at the close. Meanwhile, SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 2.53% or 5.70 points to end at 229.20 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) was up 2.48% or 0.18 points to 7.47 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which fell 5.60% or 1.70 points to trade at 28.66 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 1.48% or 0.80 points to end at 53.30 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was down 1.02% or 3.20 points to 310.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 407 to 371 and 77 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.37% or 0.26 to $70.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.33% or 0.24 to hit $73.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.69% or 18.45 to trade at $2,671.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.23% to 11.33, while USD/SEK unchanged 0.02% to 10.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 101.27.
