Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Basic Materials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 16.56% or 20.4 points to trade at 143.6 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 1.29% or 0.54 points to end at 42.31 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 0.52% or 0.9 points to 172.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which fell 1.56% or 1.22 points to trade at 77.00 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 1.43% or 1.6 points to end at 107.1 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was down 1.15% or 6.0 points to 514.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 341 to 285 and 53 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.28% or 0.19 to $68.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.12% or 0.09 to hit $78.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 6.10 to trade at $1207.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.94% to 10.4189, while USD/SEK fell 1.48% to 8.9153.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 94.07.
