Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which rose 2.70% or 1.57 points to trade at 59.67 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) added 1.59% or 1.70 points to end at 108.60 and Getinge AB ser. B (BS:GETIBs) was up 1.58% or 2.4 points to 154.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 4.41% or 2.07 points to trade at 44.83 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 4.13% or 11.20 points to end at 260.00 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was down 2.53% or 0.91 points to 35.08.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 435 to 257 and 68 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.37% or 1.19 to $49.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.20% or 1.17 to hit $51.94 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 6.05 to trade at $1203.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.14% to 9.5595, while USD/SEK fell 0.24% to 9.0337.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 101.93.
