Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Technology and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 2.68% or 3.60 points to trade at 137.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (BS:GETIBs) added 2.14% or 3.2 points to end at 152.9 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) was up 1.06% or 0.62 points to 58.92 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 1.49% or 0.54 points to trade at 35.73 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 0.95% or 2.3 points to end at 239.4 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was down 0.50% or 1.4 points to 281.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 369 to 319 and 80 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.42% or 0.77 to $53.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.22% or 0.69 to hit $55.73 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 2.55 to trade at $1256.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.26% to 9.5716, while USD/SEK fell 0.53% to 9.0172.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 100.93.
