Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Telecoms and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Evolution AB (ST:EVOG), which rose 1.58% or 15.40 points to trade at 992.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) added 1.41% or 1.65 points to end at 118.95 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was up 1.07% or 5.80 points to 549.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which fell 3.34% or 0.22 points to trade at 6.37 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 2.59% or 2.10 points to end at 78.70 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) was down 0.55% or 1.30 points to 236.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 401 to 337 and 94 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.80% or 0.60 to $75.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.46% or 0.36 to hit $78.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.14% or 27.85 to trade at $2,460.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.34% to 11.49, while USD/SEK rose 0.43% to 10.53.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 103.06.
