Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 2.90% or 3.55 points to trade at 126.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) added 1.74% or 2.45 points to end at 143.45 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was up 1.50% or 10.8 points to 732.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which fell 2.68% or 4.5 points to trade at 162.0 at the close. Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) declined 1.27% or 0.95 points to end at 73.67 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was down 0.90% or 4.2 points to 462.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 343 to 294 and 53 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.98% or 0.60 to $62.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.62% or 0.43 to hit $70.31 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 4.45 to trade at $1281.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.17% to 10.7520, while USD/SEK rose 0.18% to 9.6097.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 97.412.
