Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which rose 2.63% or 1.10 points to trade at 44.50 at the close. Meanwhile, SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 1.73% or 4.10 points to end at 240.50 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 1.45% or 4.30 points to 301.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 0.90% or 0.80 points to trade at 86.00 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 0.65% or 1.30 points to end at 198.30 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was down 0.59% or 1.10 points to 186.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 488 to 254 and 86 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.58% or 0.44 to $76.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.42% or 0.33 to hit $79.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 6.85 to trade at $2,470.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.08% to 11.48, while USD/SEK unchanged 0.02% to 10.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 102.90.
