Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Financials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 4.69% or 0.29 points to trade at 6.39 at the close. Meanwhile, Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) added 4.02% or 1.11 points to end at 28.75 and NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) was up 3.03% or 1.50 points to 49.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which fell 5.35% or 13.80 points to trade at 243.30 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 1.16% or 20.50 points to end at 1,753.00 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was down 0.45% or 0.14 points to 31.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 420 to 343 and 78 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.52% or 1.15 to $74.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.52% or 1.21 to hit $78.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 5.65 to trade at $2,543.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.57% to 11.43, while USD/SEK fell 0.95% to 10.33.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 101.80.
