Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 3.60% or 2.36 points to trade at 67.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) added 2.16% or 0.13 points to end at 6.19 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 1.76% or 4.80 points to 278.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa), which fell 1.46% or 1.50 points to trade at 100.95 at the close. Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) declined 1.42% or 3.10 points to end at 215.80 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was down 1.42% or 1.30 points to 86.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 391 to 386 and 76 ended unchanged.
Shares in Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.60% or 2.36 to 67.90. Shares in Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) fell to 3-years lows; down 1.42% or 1.30 to 86.90.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.07% or 0.89 to $82.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.94% or 0.81 to hit $85.73 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.45% or 34.85 to trade at $2,362.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.35% to 11.43, while USD/SEK rose 0.85% to 10.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 104.61.
