Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 1.45% or 1.20 points to trade at 80.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) added 1.29% or 1.40 points to end at 106.40 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) was up 1.22% or 0.34 points to 28.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which fell 2.29% or 0.17 points to trade at 7.33 at the close. Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) declined 1.75% or 17.20 points to end at 963.40 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was down 1.03% or 2.20 points to 211.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 371 to 364 and 92 ended unchanged.
Shares in Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.75% or 17.20 to 963.40.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.33% or 0.24 to $73.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.58% or 0.45 to hit $76.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 2.25 to trade at $2,633.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.34% to 11.38, while USD/SEK rose 0.65% to 10.39.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 102.60.
