Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa), which rose 2.14% or 4.5 points to trade at 216.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) added 1.87% or 3.7 points to end at 200.7 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 1.35% or 0.43 points to 32.23 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which fell 2.11% or 16.8 points to trade at 778.6 at the close. Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) declined 1.69% or 1.40 points to end at 81.20 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was down 1.29% or 1.50 points to 114.55.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 311 to 303 and 63 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.89% or 0.46 to $52.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.55% or 0.33 to hit $60.73 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 6.20 to trade at $1226.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.14% to 10.2689, while USD/SEK fell 0.58% to 9.0583.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 96.968.
