Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 2.51% or 3.9 points to trade at 159.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.97% or 2.05 points to end at 106.30 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was up 1.81% or 1.6 points to 87.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb), which fell 1.66% or 3.5 points to trade at 209.8 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) declined 1.21% or 2.7 points to end at 220.8 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) was down 1.16% or 2.6 points to 225.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 322 to 316 and 50 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.42% or 0.26 to $61.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.14% or 0.10 to hit $72.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 5.70 to trade at $1229.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.17% to 10.3150, while USD/SEK fell 0.49% to 8.9983.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 95.75.
