Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 4.24% or 0.72 points to trade at 17.69 at the close. Meanwhile, Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 2.05% or 1.08 points to end at 53.73 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 1.98% or 3.80 points to 195.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ABB Ltd (ST:ABB), which fell 0.63% or 1.4 points to trade at 219.6 at the close. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) declined 0.54% or 1.0 points to end at 185.0 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was down 0.47% or 0.50 points to 104.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 304 to 296 and 79 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.41% or 0.82 to $57.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.70% or 1.10 to hit $63.59 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.30 to trade at $1239.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 1.06% to 9.9036, while USD/SEK fell 0.60% to 8.4482.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 94.18.
