Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which rose 1.46% or 2.60 points to trade at 180.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) added 1.42% or 2.7 points to end at 192.3 and Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) was up 1.35% or 4.0 points to 300.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 22.14% or 7.42 points to trade at 26.10 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 2.40% or 24.0 points to end at 974.5 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was down 1.75% or 0.67 points to 37.65.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 366 to 357 and 88 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) fell to 52-week lows; down 22.14% or 7.42 to 26.10. Shares in Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) rose to all time highs; rising 1.42% or 2.7 to 192.3.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.89% or 0.45 to $49.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.81% or 0.45 to hit $55.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.01% or 13.32 to trade at $1311.88 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.00% to 9.5160, while USD/SEK rose 0.14% to 7.9772.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 91.90.
