Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 5.68% or 17.50 points to trade at 325.50 at the close. Meanwhile, NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) added 4.90% or 2.40 points to end at 50.90 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.96% or 2.80 points to 146.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which fell 9.27% or 21.50 points to trade at 210.40 at the close. Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) declined 4.85% or 1.58 points to end at 31.02 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was down 0.92% or 14.50 points to 1,562.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 439 to 336 and 73 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.38% or 0.97 to $71.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.42% or 1.04 to hit $74.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 21.10 to trade at $2,673.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.29% to 11.29, while USD/SEK fell 0.68% to 10.12.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 100.28.
