Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which rose 1.35% or 3.20 points to trade at 240.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) added 1.10% or 0.07 points to end at 6.28 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 1.06% or 3.40 points to 323.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which fell 3.11% or 5.20 points to trade at 161.80 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 2.04% or 6.40 points to end at 307.60 and Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) was down 0.94% or 10.00 points to 1,055.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 414 to 326 and 94 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.11% or 0.84 to $74.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.12% or 0.88 to hit $77.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 12.60 to trade at $2,540.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.12% to 11.34, while USD/SEK rose 0.48% to 10.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 100.96.
