Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.21% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa), which rose 1.37% or 1.34 points to trade at 99.10 at the close. Meanwhile, ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 1.04% or 1.9 points to end at 183.9 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 0.92% or 0.95 points to 103.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which fell 1.24% or 1.06 points to trade at 84.72 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 0.86% or 6.4 points to end at 737.0 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was down 0.84% or 1.25 points to 148.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 332 to 302 and 60 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.71% or 0.40 to $56.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.47% or 0.31 to hit $66.19 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.61% or 21.25 to trade at $1343.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.94% to 10.5615, while USD/SEK rose 0.57% to 9.3048.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 96.292.
