Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 1.70% or 1.30 points to trade at 77.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 1.33% or 10.2 points to end at 776.6 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was up 1.13% or 2.4 points to 215.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 1.28% or 0.53 points to trade at 40.79 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 1.10% or 7.5 points to end at 671.8 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was down 1.05% or 2.50 points to 235.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 334 to 291 and 50 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.46% or 1.73 to $68.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.79% or 1.43 to hit $78.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 2.90 to trade at $1208.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.23% to 10.4646, while USD/SEK fell 0.19% to 8.9637.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 94.62.
