Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 3.14% or 5.20 points to trade at 170.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.72% or 2.00 points to end at 118.25 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 1.31% or 1.35 points to 104.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which fell 2.04% or 0.14 points to trade at 6.96 at the close. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) declined 1.64% or 1.70 points to end at 99.20 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) was down 1.33% or 0.40 points to 29.71.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 451 to 321 and 72 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.48% or 1.00 to $68.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.28% or 0.92 to hit $72.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 2.00 to trade at $2,608.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.31% to 11.34, while USD/SEK fell 0.14% to 10.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 100.41.
