Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 4.95% or 0.78 points to trade at 16.59 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 3.17% or 8.90 points to end at 289.50 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 2.45% or 1.10 points to 46.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 1.55% or 4.1 points to trade at 260.2 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 1.26% or 1.5 points to end at 117.5 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was down 1.24% or 2.10 points to 167.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 382 to 245 and 37 ended unchanged.
Shares in Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) fell to 5-year lows; losing 1.26% or 1.5 to 117.5. Shares in SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.45% or 1.10 to 46.00. Shares in Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.24% or 2.10 to 167.90.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.23% or 0.14 to $60.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.63% or 0.42 to hit $66.45 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.80 to trade at $1313.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.35% to 9.8550, while USD/SEK rose 0.03% to 8.1796.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 91.59.
