Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.17% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 1.83% or 2.8 points to trade at 155.5 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 1.46% or 8.0 points to end at 555.5 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was up 1.39% or 1.30 points to 94.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which fell 1.01% or 1.8 points to trade at 175.7 at the close. Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) declined 0.84% or 1.9 points to end at 223.3 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) was down 0.84% or 0.90 points to 106.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 395 to 341 and 72 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.84% or 1.47 to $50.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.87% or 1.06 to hit $55.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 6.91 to trade at $1277.89 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.43% to 9.5835, while USD/SEK rose 0.15% to 8.1593.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 93.40.
