Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.16% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 8.07% or 11.70 points to trade at 156.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) added 1.81% or 0.75 points to end at 42.24 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 1.15% or 0.49 points to 43.27 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which fell 2.12% or 19.2 points to trade at 886.0 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) declined 1.67% or 1.20 points to end at 70.66 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was down 0.75% or 0.7 points to 92.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 350 to 254 and 60 ended unchanged.
Shares in Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) rose to all time highs; rising 8.07% or 11.70 to 156.75.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.40% or 0.28 to $69.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.17% or 0.13 to hit $74.67 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1225.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.50% to 10.3086, while USD/SEK rose 0.39% to 8.8452.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 94.47.
