Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 5.52% or 5.25 points to trade at 100.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 2.99% or 4.5 points to end at 155.0 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was up 2.07% or 7.2 points to 355.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which fell 1.76% or 18.0 points to trade at 1005.0 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) declined 0.98% or 0.48 points to end at 48.72 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was down 0.94% or 2.0 points to 211.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 469 to 279 and 68 ended unchanged.
Shares in Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) rose to all time highs; rising 2.07% or 7.2 to 355.2.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.17% or 0.61 to $51.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.60% or 0.93 to hit $57.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 7.27 to trade at $1290.27 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.39% to 9.6380, while USD/SEK fell 0.06% to 8.1405.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 93.04.
