Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Telecoms, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 2.39% or 2.40 points to trade at 102.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) added 2.11% or 19.80 points to end at 960.00 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 1.98% or 32.00 points to 1,645.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which fell 8.44% or 6.90 points to trade at 74.80 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 1.84% or 2.60 points to end at 138.80 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) was down 1.66% or 0.11 points to 6.33.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 425 to 328 and 75 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.23% or 0.16 to $70.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.08% or 0.06 to hit $74.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 6.90 to trade at $2,685.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.79% to 11.42, while USD/SEK rose 0.95% to 10.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 103.27.
