Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 3.67% or 0.98 points to trade at 27.65 at the close. Meanwhile, ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 1.74% or 10.20 points to end at 596.40 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) was up 1.63% or 7.60 points to 474.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which fell 1.94% or 3.00 points to trade at 152.00 at the close. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) declined 1.82% or 5.20 points to end at 281.10 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was down 0.94% or 1.10 points to 116.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 424 to 347 and 90 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.07% or 1.62 to $76.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.82% or 1.50 to hit $80.90 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 10.65 to trade at $2,405.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.11% to 11.68, while USD/SEK rose 0.45% to 10.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 104.18.
