Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 1.68% or 0.68 points to trade at 41.24 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) added 1.29% or 6.3 points to end at 495.2 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was up 0.99% or 5.4 points to 548.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which fell 1.18% or 2.9 points to trade at 242.2 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) declined 1.05% or 1.04 points to end at 97.76 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) was down 0.68% or 1.10 points to 161.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 313 to 305 and 55 ended unchanged.
Shares in Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.99% or 5.4 to 548.6.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.46% or 0.32 to $70.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.75% or 0.58 to hit $78.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.50 to trade at $1206.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.42% to 10.5681, while USD/SEK fell 0.53% to 9.0959.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 95.05.
