Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which rose 8.04% or 17.1 points to trade at 229.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 2.67% or 2.3 points to end at 86.9 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 2.27% or 3.70 points to 166.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which fell 1.90% or 1.31 points to trade at 67.67 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.72% or 4.75 points to end at 271.15 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was down 1.66% or 2.3 points to 136.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 331 to 296 and 49 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.70% or 2.59 to $67.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 4.12% or 3.10 to hit $72.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.10 to trade at $1240.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.49% to 10.3328, while USD/SEK fell 0.69% to 8.8234.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 94.27.
