Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Telecoms and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which rose 1.51% or 2.40 points to trade at 161.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 1.38% or 0.80 points to end at 58.62 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 1.08% or 1.9 points to 177.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 2.05% or 5.4 points to trade at 258.6 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 1.47% or 1.7 points to end at 113.7 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was down 1.03% or 3.00 points to 287.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 328 to 288 and 45 ended unchanged.
Shares in Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) fell to 5-year lows; losing 1.47% or 1.7 to 113.7.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.27% or 0.17 to $64.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $69.42 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 8.50 to trade at $1330.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.04% to 9.8142, while USD/SEK fell 0.45% to 8.0148.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 90.27.
