Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which rose 1.43% or 2.1 points to trade at 149.0 at the close. Meanwhile, ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 1.19% or 2.1 points to end at 178.6 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.11% or 2.5 points to 228.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken A (ST:SEBa), which fell 2.16% or 2.40 points to trade at 108.60 at the close. Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) declined 1.19% or 2.5 points to end at 208.3 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was down 1.11% or 2.6 points to 230.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 224 to 203 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.65% or 0.86 to $53.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.01% or 0.59 to hit $58.74 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1154.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.29% to 9.3666, while USD/SEK rose 0.16% to 8.5061.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 96.83.
