Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Consumer Services and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 2.74% or 1.28 points to trade at 48.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) added 1.14% or 2.60 points to end at 231.50 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.01% or 0.7 points to 69.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 2.25% or 0.89 points to trade at 38.74 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 1.49% or 0.35 points to end at 23.15 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was down 1.26% or 3.5 points to 274.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 397 to 321 and 91 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.75% or 0.37 to $49.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.47% or 0.26 to hit $55.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 10.30 to trade at $1285.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.10% to 9.5329, while USD/SEK fell 0.07% to 8.1146.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 93.51.
