Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 2.81% or 1.06 points to trade at 38.73 at the close. Meanwhile, AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) added 1.68% or 2.8 points to end at 169.7 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 1.26% or 6.5 points to 521.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 12.87% or 3.36 points to trade at 22.74 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 1.36% or 3.00 points to end at 217.90 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) was down 1.16% or 1.50 points to 127.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 365 to 349 and 90 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) fell to 52-week lows; down 12.87% or 3.36 to 22.74.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.64% or 0.32 to $50.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.78% or 0.43 to hit $55.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.97 to trade at $1312.77 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.17% to 9.5356, while USD/SEK fell 0.09% to 7.9549.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 91.62.
