Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ABB Ltd (ST:ABB), which rose 3.93% or 6.8 points to trade at 178.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) added 1.55% or 3.4 points to end at 222.7 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) was up 0.90% or 1.30 points to 145.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 1.78% or 0.44 points to trade at 24.26 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 1.66% or 2.30 points to end at 136.20 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was down 1.01% or 6.6 points to 645.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 385 to 235 and 63 ended unchanged.
Shares in SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.78% or 0.44 to 24.26.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.40% or 0.22 to $54.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.21% or 0.12 to hit $58.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 8.55 to trade at $1517.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.44% to 10.7321, while USD/SEK rose 0.30% to 9.5727.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 97.255.
