Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which rose 1.31% or 8.9 points to trade at 688.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 1.19% or 9.2 points to end at 783.6 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was up 1.04% or 1.00 points to 97.52 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which fell 3.81% or 4.1 points to trade at 103.5 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 1.92% or 0.88 points to end at 45.01 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was down 1.68% or 1.90 points to 110.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 338 to 289 and 63 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.62% or 0.45 to $71.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.30% or 0.24 to hit $81.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 6.20 to trade at $1198.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.09% to 10.3587, while USD/SEK rose 0.07% to 8.8140.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 93.81.
