Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 6.15% or 0.24 points to trade at 4.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.42% or 1.60 points to end at 114.20 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) was up 1.39% or 0.28 points to 20.11 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb), which fell 1.15% or 1.10 points to trade at 91.00 at the close. SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) declined 1.10% or 2.70 points to end at 238.80 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was down 1.05% or 6.40 points to 606.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 382 to 362 and 88 ended unchanged.
Shares in Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.15% or 1.10 to 91.00.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.52% or 0.36 to $68.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.53% or 0.38 to hit $71.94 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 17.94 to trade at $2,664.24 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.15% to 11.54, while USD/SEK fell 0.68% to 10.91.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.96% at 105.94.
