Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which rose 4.29% or 9.40 points to trade at 228.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) added 2.80% or 0.89 points to end at 32.65 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was up 2.27% or 13.60 points to 611.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which fell 7.77% or 119.00 points to trade at 1,412.00 at the close. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) declined 2.23% or 0.10 points to end at 4.31 and NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) was down 1.23% or 0.70 points to 54.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 458 to 301 and 82 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.53% or 1.09 to $72.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.35% or 1.01 to hit $76.09 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 5.55 to trade at $2,751.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.36% to 11.70, while USD/SEK fell 0.07% to 10.71.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 103.39.
