Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sandvik AB (ST:SAND), which rose 1.15% or 1.75 points to trade at 153.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) added 0.98% or 0.96 points to end at 98.72 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 0.79% or 0.39 points to 49.72 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which fell 1.58% or 5.7 points to trade at 354.3 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 1.48% or 3.40 points to end at 226.80 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was down 1.33% or 1.33 points to 99.02.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 308 to 305 and 50 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.61% or 1.03 to $62.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.26% or 0.85 to hit $66.44 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.18% or 15.70 to trade at $1317.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.21% to 10.0617, while USD/SEK rose 0.91% to 8.2255.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 90.32.
