Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 3.12% or 2.38 points to trade at 78.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 0.88% or 1.00 points to end at 114.35 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was up 0.87% or 4.1 points to 476.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa), which fell 2.06% or 5.3 points to trade at 254.0 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 2.04% or 4.0 points to end at 194.5 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) was down 1.71% or 4.1 points to 235.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 375 to 253 and 61 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.02% or 1.39 to $67.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.57% or 1.21 to hit $76.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.10 to trade at $1204.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.54% to 10.5868, while USD/SEK rose 0.60% to 9.1088.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 95.05.
