Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Basic Materials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.03% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 2.54% or 18.4 points to trade at 743.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 1.52% or 3.3 points to end at 220.8 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) was up 1.27% or 1.08 points to 85.98 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which fell 1.04% or 0.90 points to trade at 85.78 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 0.99% or 1.50 points to end at 149.65 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was down 0.98% or 7.4 points to 745.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 341 to 282 and 66 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.88% or 0.49 to $56.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.33% or 0.22 to hit $66.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.00 to trade at $1329.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.02% to 10.4626, while USD/SEK fell 0.20% to 9.2520.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 96.620.
