Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.02% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 5.84% or 11.50 points to trade at 208.40 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 3.82% or 1.57 points to end at 42.67 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was up 3.21% or 9.5 points to 305.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 6.23% or 1.29 points to trade at 19.40 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 2.48% or 6.20 points to end at 244.10 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was down 2.31% or 3.8 points to 161.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 406 to 362 and 80 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.04% or 0.02 to $54.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.39% or 0.24 to hit $60.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 7.09 to trade at $1277.59 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.03% to 9.7604, while USD/SEK rose 0.22% to 8.3971.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 94.65.
