Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 3.15% or 1.41 points to trade at 46.16 at the close. Meanwhile, Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) added 2.13% or 2.56 points to end at 122.56 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 1.66% or 2.9 points to 178.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa), which fell 2.22% or 5.0 points to trade at 219.8 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 2.14% or 0.78 points to end at 35.70 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was down 1.74% or 4.80 points to 270.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 358 to 319 and 76 ended unchanged.
Shares in Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) rose to 5-year highs; rising 2.13% or 2.56 to 122.56.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.24% or 0.13 to $53.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.12% or 0.07 to hit $56.08 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.25 to trade at $1218.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.25% to 9.5199, while USD/SEK fell 0.25% to 8.9965.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 101.70.
