Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.02% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 2.35% or 2.5 points to trade at 109.0 at the close. Meanwhile, ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 2.15% or 4.5 points to end at 214.0 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 1.72% or 5.0 points to 295.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 2.66% or 6.90 points to trade at 252.85 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 2.44% or 5.0 points to end at 199.5 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was down 2.26% or 3.60 points to 155.85.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 328 to 320 and 48 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.28% or 0.19 to $67.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.16% or 0.12 to hit $74.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.68% or 8.20 to trade at $1195.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.34% to 10.5491, while USD/SEK rose 0.58% to 9.1197.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 95.36.
