Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 3.33% or 4.6 points to trade at 142.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) added 2.12% or 6.10 points to end at 294.10 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was up 1.56% or 2.05 points to 133.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which fell 3.03% or 13.4 points to trade at 429.3 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 2.56% or 16.6 points to end at 631.2 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was down 2.02% or 2.9 points to 140.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 351 to 276 and 57 ended unchanged.
Shares in Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.33% or 4.6 to 142.9. Shares in Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.12% or 6.10 to 294.10. Shares in Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.56% or 2.05 to 133.25.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.74% or 1.99 to $51.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.47% or 2.16 to hit $60.13 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 5.55 to trade at $1336.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.08% to 10.6967, while USD/SEK rose 0.21% to 9.4699.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 96.903.
